A man, Stephen Nyitse, has done the unthinkable when he beat security personnel at the JS Stadium Gboko this morning during the coronation of the 5th Tor Tiv, Prof. James Ayatse. He carefully beat the personnel as he went to sit on the stool prepared for the Tor Tiv.
Speaking to security personnel under interrogation, Nyitse said he was prompted by God to cleanse the stool for the new king. He said, “I sat on the stool in order to cleanse it and make it comfortable for the incoming Tor Tiv.”
The Chairman, Central Planning Committee for the coronation has however ordered that he should be punished. Investigations are currently going on to be sure he has no ulterior motive.
