According to an onlooker who was asked some questions by an Xclusivevibes Reporter, the fire at first showed up like it was a mere flame coming from the burning of refuge, not until it began to aggravate speedily to a rage of fire, the street of Navy witnessed commotion all over the place as youths came out in mass to use man-power to put off the fire.

Putting off the fire wasn't really an easy task for them, hours pass by and they were still showering soupy water on the abyss like fire. The raging fire destroyed shops having goods worth millions and was heading for more but was diverted by the able youths. Many invited the fire fighters over to quickly extinguish the fire, but the effort proved abortive.
Xclusivevibes Media learnt that many goods were recovered and kept far from the fire whereas exposing them to thieves who loitered around, numerous owners of the stores affected were crying on the top of their voices.
Another eyewitness disclosed that there was a casualty while trying to quench the fire.
Furthermore, the arrival of the Police caused a preposterous chaos as they began to pull their triggers with their guns pointed at the sky though all the onlookers run for shade. The fire was almost done quenching when the so called fire fighters arrived, looking very prepared. Youths and teenagers who submitted their effort in quenching the fire were grieved on their arrival. They threw stones, sticks and lots more, on their van, demolishing most parts of it.
