A cable thief was disgraced after he was caught yesterday night stealing cables used for wiring electricity light in Oba, Anambra state.

The angry community members poured mud on the man’s whole bodyq as punishment. The unnamed man was caught by an Hausa security man on guard, and beaten to a pulp by the whole community. He was about to be set on fire before he was rescued by the police.
