The commissioner also said the leader of a militant group that terrorised Igando area was arrested on Friday.
Owoseni alleged that while some of the suspects trail bank customers, others attacked people at BRT bus stops in the morning and robbed motorists at traffic.
“Items recovered from them include a Beretta pistol, two locally-made short guns, cartridges, ammunition, charms, speed boat and 12 vehicles.
“They will be charged to court soon,’’ he said.
The commissioner called on personnel of the command to be alert always, especially during the ember months and during the Sallah celebration.
