Kenya, (AN24) – No fewer than one person was killed and five others injured after a light aircraft crashed on Thursday, September 8, 2016 around Lake Naivasha in Kenya.
The light plane which had six occupants was flying across the lake when the accident happened, killing a Polish woman on board.
According to eye witnesses, the plane had not been in the air long when it started spinning in the sky and crashed at Sanctuary farm before bursting into flames.
Though Naivasha police boss Titus Munyoki said the cause of the accident was not immediately known, Police however maintain that investigations are ongoing.
Meanwhile the pilot of the aircraft was identified to be a Kenyan while four other survivors are from the United Kingdom and had been in Kenya for a few days.

According to an Hospital staff, the Kenyan pilot was in a critical condition and had received burns to 60 percent of his body, while other four passengers, who are all from the United Kingdom are stable.
Furthermore, the affected Europeans were in Naivasha to mourn with a friend who lost his wife last Sunday before the ugly incident occurred.
