The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is already turning up the heat in the smartphone market worldwide as the company begins accepting pre-orders. Although
Note 7 with one-of-a-kind Iris scanner and improved S Pen, is already
a hit, there is bigger news. Galaxy Note 7 Nougat update is already in
the works, and it could be out in as soon as November.
The South Korean tech giant has unveiled Android 7.0 Nougat will be
reaching Note 7 devices as soon as November. Google is all set to
release Nougat for Nexus devices by the end of this month. Moreover,
LG has already reported V20 to be the first Nougat-powered device
right out of the box.
All of these details were unveiled at a press conference by Samsung
Electronics President, Koh Dong-jin. Koh has also hinted that apart
from the Galaxy Note 7 Nougat update, users can also expect
localized variants of the device in different colors.
“It is very important for us to offer up-to-date
information with the new OS, but what’s more crucial
is to build a stable and seamless platform for users.
That’s why we are planning to do enough beta testing
before any OS updates.”
The global version of Galaxy Note 7, sporting a 4GB RAM and 64GB
internal memory is making record-breaking pre-orders worldwide. To
sweeten the deal even further for their Chinese customers, Samsung
will release a 6GB RAM+128GB ROM version of Note 7.
