Meizu very recently launched two new smartphones which fall into the mid-budget smartphone category. Meizu U10 is the lower end model of the two devices launched, the other one being the Meizu U20.
The Meizu U10 features a 5-inch IPS display with 1080pixel resolution. The device is powered by an octa-core processor, which is backed by 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The Meizu U10 also has a higher memory version with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. There is also a microSD expansion slot if you need to ramp up the internal storage.
In the camera aspect, the Meizu U10 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera unit with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front facing camera for selfies. There is also a 2,760mAh battery to fire the smartphone up and a fingerprint sensor right at the back of the device.
Available connectivity options include, 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS. On the software zone, the dual-SIM enabled Meizu U10 runs on YunOS with Meizu’s custom Flyme UI

Talking about the price, the 2GB RAM + 16GB ROM version of the Meizu U10 starts at 999 Yuan in China ( US $150, about Rs. 10,073 in India, N49,500 in Nigeria) while the 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM version carries a price tag of 1199 yuan ( US $181, Rs. 12,155 in India, N60,000 in Nigeria). The Meizu U10 will go on sale from September 18 and will be available via Meizu store and other online sales channels. It is not known when the smartphone will start shipping outside of China as of now.
