Cubot isn’t a very popular smartphone brand in Africa but the Chinese company seem to be making in roads into the continent, opening up shops in Kenya. The Cubot H2 is one of the cost efficient and power effieicent smartphone released by the tech company this year. It is as popular as the Cubot Dinosaur released as well not too long ago.
The Cubot H2 boasts of a 5.5-inch display which seems to be the standard in mid-range to flagship smartphones theses days. The display features an HD resolution of 1280 x 720pixels. The entire internal process is controlled by a MediaTek MT6735A processor backed by 3GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage space. The MediaTek chipset coupled with the RAM size makes the Cubot H2 a good smaartphone for gaming, watching video and multitasking with out issues off hanging, slow running or exerting too much strain on the device.
The Cubot H2 equally packs a 13-megapixel rear facing camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front facing camera. There’s also a 5,000mAh battery providing the juice and despite the battery size, the device is just 9.1mm thick, with an overall dimension of 149.9 x 76.5 x 9.1mm. The battery also has a quick charge feature that charges it super fast.
The Cubot H2 runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box and supports a whole lot of network options such as 850/900/1800/1900 bands on GSM, 900/2100 on WCDMA and B1/B3/B7/B20 on FDD-LTE. The H2 also comes with support for dual SIM cards.

Cubot H2 is available for purchase in Kenya and the sleek smartphone is priced at Ksh 12,599, which is about N40,000 in Nigeria.
