White House Briefing Bar: Media Groups Condemn Exclusion -Wapvibes247.com

As the U.S. President Donald Trump continues his attack on the media, the White House has excluded several major U.S. news organisations, from an off-camera briefing held by the White House Press Secretary, Sean Spicer.

Reporters for CNN, the New York Times, Politico, the Los Angeles Times, Buzzfeed and the BBC were not allowed into the session held in Mr Spicer’s officer.
The New York Times has described the move as “an unmistakable insult to democratic ideals”.

The bar came hours after Mr Trump delivered another attack on the media, saying that “fake news” was the “enemy of the people”.

According to the BBC, the Associated Press, USA Today and Time magazine had refused to attend as a protest against the move.
